We're preparing to reintroduce wolves to Colorado 🐺 Our final Wolf Restoration and Management Plan passed on May 3, 2023, but wolves haven’t been reintroduced in Colorado yet. Wolves are both Federally and State protected as an Endangered Species. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is engaged in a process to designate the Colorado wolf population as Experimental under Section 10(j) of the Endangered Species Act. This would provide management flexibility that would otherwise be prohibited. We an
