Replying to @Mighty porg here are my top 5 tips for teaching loose leash walking (and solving the pulling issue): 1️⃣ start in the house 2️⃣ be consistent with what you reward 3️⃣ the walk starts the second the gear goes on 4️⃣ incorporate proactive directional changes 5️⃣ burn off excess energy before the walk there are a million ways to teach loose leash walking — this is just what i’ve found to be most effective & fair to the dog 🥰 loose leash pros: what tips would YOU add to this list? 🤔👀
